Compost Education Workshops

Everyone should have access to a compost hub and garden that empowers them to learn the art and science of composting and growing food through first-hand experience. This project delivers composting workshops for people of all ages and backgrounds.

We help to fund the education through the supply and installation of the composting equipment which can be more easily funded. We teach how to make complete compost to enable regenerative gardening and soil ecosystem restoration on a human scale.

We are developing ways of making the soil school more engaging, fun and interactive.

Book a compost workshop for your school or community

These workshops contain both practical, hands-on and online learning to convey the microbiological understanding that helps human-scale composting make sense. We can offer these workshops for schools and communities within 50 miles of mid-Sussex. We can offer some funded places for those in difficult circumstances. To register interest in our compost education workshops, please contact us.

Supported by Enjoolata Foundation

We are also developing an online course that has been part funded by Enjoolata Foundation which invests in businesses that care about the planet. ‘Enjoolata’ in Maasai Mara, Kenya describes the joy felt when something hidden becomes known, when something concealed becomes revealed.

We’re excited to be education partners with Enjoolata.

Our workshops delve into the very origins of life on earth, combining a biological understanding of soil life with hands on learning. Our goal is to make composting inspiring & fun.
