Local Compost Clubs

The compost club model creates regenerative livelihoods & empowers people to turn their rubbish into robins.

We started a Brighton-based compost club in the first lockdown and it was a popular service that has since been spreading across the UK. The Mycelium Network was created to support individuals and communities to make better local compost and to spread regenerative initiatives like compost clubs.

This is our map of local Compost Clubs that have been springing up across the country (and globe!), since our pioneering Compost Club was set up in Brighton. We are all connected and support one another through our Mycelium Composting Network

Set up a compost club

Are you interested in starting your own compost club but need help getting started?

Step 1. Join the Mycelium Network

Get access to all our online courses and support from our team to set up your own compost club. Includes guides for building your compost station infrastructure such as composting shelters and maturation resting bays.

Join Brighton Compost Club

We have 3 different membership options for different quantities of exceptional compost returned each spring and different levels of involvement. The most popular is the ‘House plant membership’ ideal for anyone living in a flat or space without garden who wants to have a clean bin and conscience whilst recieving just enough compost to keep all their houseplants happy each year.

Featured Compost Club: Hay Regenerative Soils
